From South of the
Mississippi to North of Michigan -- from East of Florida to West California, the
NPA has more than 1,000 members located in various States.
We encourage new
membership and the NPA membership policies do not discriminate on the basis
of a person’s race, sex, age, handicap, ethnic origin, or religion.
The NPA was organized to promote the game of pinochle by:
Fostering
the spirit of good fellowship in the game of Pinochle, offering guidance and supervision
to NPA membership organizations, adapting and implementing uniform playing
rules and regulations, assisting local Chapters who host individual tournaments and
the National Championship Tournament and furthering the enjoyment of the game of
Pinochle
by all its members.
The
NPA has six (6) sanctioned
tournaments throughout the year and some Chapters host non-sanctioned
tournaments.
